By creating maps for friends, this allows me to research areas I may or may not have been. Included in the maps are suggestions on restaurants, mileage, and other points of interest. West Virginia Waterfalls & Biscuit World Guide - January 2012

I decided I wanted to make a map to encourage friends to explore the Wild and Wonderful West Virginia. Since I love waterfalls, I decided to focus the map to show where many are located in the State. Also, after driving through WV previously, I kept seeing signs for this delicious looking place called Biscuit World. I decided to include the locations of all of the Biscuit Worlds for friends to enjoy after waterfall seeking. Below is the Map for Friends.

Western MD / WV Railroad Adventure - August 2011

I have a coworker that was flipping through the tv channels, and caught a program about the railroad in Western Maryland. After watching the program, she decided she'd like to take the train ride with her husband and daughter, but wanted to add another stop to the itinerary. She asked me for any suggestions, so I made her the map below. I included a wide range of options within driving distance to Cumberland.
